In the enchanting dance of nature, Milkweed provides the nurturing nectar and a sanctuary for Monarchs, laying the foundation for the next generation’s majestic flight. As a child on my grandpa’s soybean farm in Northern Ohio, I spent countless hours immersed in the fields. I was blissfully unaware of the profound connection between Milkweed and Monarchs® at that time. My job was to pull the Milkweed as it was considered a threat to the crop. It was only years later that I understood the significance of the Monarchs and their relationship to Milkweed.
